About CONFIDME
You upload one portrait. You get your face shape and a colour palette, a 12-piece capsule wardrobe built around them, and up to ten shops stocking each piece. One payment, no subscription, yours to keep.
This page is the plain version: what is automated, what a person does, what happens to your photo, and where this beats a styling appointment - and where it does not.
Which parts are AI?
We say “your AI stylist” on the site, so here is the exact split.
The free tier is not AI. First Look measures the geometry of your face - proportions and ratios - and derives your face shape and a starting styling formula from those measurements. No AI model or language model is involved, and your photo is not sent to one.
The paid tier is. For Your Style System, your photo and its geometry are sent to a third-party AI model provider, which returns the written brief: colour palette, hair and eyewear guidance, the capsule checklist and the shopping suggestions. The provider processes the data to return your result and does not use it to train its models.
A model drafts your brief. It is a starting point built from your own proportions and colouring, not a verdict on how you look, and not medical, psychological or professional advice.
Does a person check your brief?
Yes, for paid briefs. The AI produces the draft; one of us then reads it against your photo before it is sent, and corrects or re-runs anything that does not hold up. You are not receiving raw model output that nobody has looked at.
To be precise about the division of labour: the measurement is automatic, the writing is a model, and the sign-off is a person. The free First Look is measurement only and is not individually reviewed.
What happens to the photo you upload?
The face check that confirms your photo shows one clear face runs in your browser - that step does not upload the image. Once you continue, the photo is uploaded so it can be measured and, on the paid tier, analysed.
It is never sold. It is never shared beyond the infrastructure that runs the analysis. It is never used to train any model. It is deleted automatically after 14 days for a free read, or 120 days after your most recent paid order, and you can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your results live at a private link that we email you. There is no public profile, no shared gallery, and no way for anyone to browse other people's results.
Is this better than a colour analysis appointment?
Not better - different, and honest about it. An in-person session is someone looking at you in a room for a couple of hours, usually for a couple of hundred dollars. It can watch you move, react to what you say, and change its mind halfway through. Ours cannot do any of that.
What ours does instead: costs a fraction, arrives in minutes, and is written down. You keep the palette and the checklist and can reopen them while you are actually standing in a shop, which is the moment you need them.
Why a photo instead of a quiz?
A quiz collects your opinions about yourself. A portrait shows proportion and contrast as they actually are. That is the whole distinction, and it is why we ask for a photo instead of ten multiple-choice questions.
Who runs this, and how do you reach us?
CONFIDME is operated by a small independent team and is the data controller for the personal data described in our privacy policy. We are not a marketplace, we do not take commission from the shops we link to, and the shopping suggestions are not paid placements.
Questions, corrections and refunds go to a human: use the contact form or email [email protected]. If your brief misses the mark, say so - we will re-run it or refund you.
